If 1 gives good sound, you'd know better where to troubleshoot. It would be interesting to see if you can test both individually NVIDIA HDMI or Onboard to see if you have the same problem with both of them. I would also disable the HDMI soundcard if you don't use it (or the onboard soundcard if you do use hdmi). Switching to 7.1 wasn't Atmos of course □, but pretty decenr regular surround.įirst thing to try is probably going into the soundcard properties (little speaker icon in control panel)Īnd check if all your enhancements are off and see if the bitrate is correct. My receiver said ATMOS, but it was just weird Stereo. With me, I immediately knew something was wrong with ATMOS on PC through HDMI. So I don't really know what your config is? But I'm guessing Stereo Speakers and Headphones? Or do you have a receiver with surround setup? Do you get sound from NVIDIA HDMI? Or a onboard soundcard? Occasionally voices are incredibly echoey and quiet. Originally posted by Battlefrog:Using RealTek, updated Nvidia drivers and everything, and happens both on speakers and headphones.
